Chris Branfield, principal dentist, originally hails from Chorley, Lancashire, the son of a bricklayer. He graduated from Leeds University Dental School in 1992. Since then he has invested heavily in his postgraduate education and has trained under some of the best dentists in this country and the rest of the world. He has developed the Branfield 7 Step Smile Maker System of Dentistry. Chris is committed to the total wellbeing of his patients and has a special interest in tooth replacement therapy and dental rehabilitation with dental implants, especially for those who struggle and SUFFER with dentures. Chris has lived and worked in the East Riding since 1994. He married Fran in 1995 and has 2 children, Edward and Harriet. Both Chris and Edward support Hull City at the KC stadium. Chris is BDA section chairman and a Yorkshire branch committee member.HE takes referrals from dentists for implant,cosmetic and complex dentistry. Graham 'Dr Tooth Saver' Porter
Graham or, GP as he is affectionately (!) known, was born back in the mists of time in the land of the Yellerbelli. !972-77 found him at Liverpool Dental School where, in between playing and organising rugby, he managed to gain a degree in dental surgery. Spells of practice in Wigan and St Helens followed before buying his own surgery in Hallgate, Cottingham in 1980. Always active in dental politics, GP saw the writing on the wall for NHS dentistry and began the move away in the early nineties. In 1999 came the move to the current, purpose built, ground floor premises, where he was joined by CB in 2003.
GP has dedicated his career to the preservation of teeth. He could be said to be allergic to exodontia.
Angela Coates is our hygeinist at the practice and she also works part time at a specialist periodontal (gum health) practice in York.

From the A164 turn down Castle Road past Castle Hill Hospital, turn onto Green Lane(sign posted local shops). Aprox 200m on the left is a parade of shops with a newsagents on the end. This is Castle Green and we are here. There is ample free parking just outside. You can also access Green Lane from Eppleworth Road. We are on the right at the top of the hill.
